Nuclear Throne Together is an experimental mod for Vlambeer's Nuclear Throne, improving the multiplayer-related aspects of the game, adding modding support, and, most notably, adding online multiplayer support for 2-4 players. NuclearThroneTogether / Scripting / API / Input View History Button inputs Due to implementation details (both need for gamepad support and networking functions), mods do not have direct access to keyboard-polling functions.

Much like Nuclear Throne, Caveblazers had the beginnings of a local 4-player multiplayer support, and the idea was similarly canned for the reason of there simply not being enough screen space to fit 4 players. While slightly constrained in execution speed (due to being interpreted at runtime), it can be used to control noticeable portions of the game. Valve is still working on their official compatibility list, but as it has now been scraped via their Steam API and placed on a website, it seems like it is close to nearly 100 games. NuclearThroneTogether / Scripting / Overview View History Starting from version 9848, Nuclear Throne Together allows the players to variously extend the game through scripting in a GameMaker Language -esque scripting language. Scripting system is also synchronized and will work in online multiplayer sessions without any additional effort from your side, meaning that you can write and test mods with people in realtime.
